Children Residential Support Workers Needed!!

Do you have the passion of working with Young People with learning difficulties and complex needs?

This is an independent non-profit -making organisation , where they specialise in caring for young people who have learning difficulties, special needs and physical disabilities.



The home offers residential, short-break and supported living accommodation to young adults with similar needs as above and offers the highest quality of life both in terms of accommodation and support all provided in a purpose-built property.

Main duties
· Assist YP with Personal care, Medication and eating.
· Encourage and support YP to progress.
· Participate in activities inside and outside the centre,
Arts/crafts, Trips to bowling, parks, ect..
· General support and teamwork.

You must be able to provide high quality residential care. Also offer an exceptional level of person-centred care. Believe in promoting independence and understand that all young adults should be treated as individuals.You must be able to create a plan of care for each resident designed around their requirements and preferences, giving them choice in all aspects of their daily routine.





To register with BS Social Care you will need a minimum of 2 years` experience and have a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care working with Children & Young People and be able to supply 5 years referencing. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed which is a cost of £50 or if you have one on the update service then this can be accepted.
