Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support and deliver person centred care to Young People!!

The organisation is a charity that provides support and care to vulnerable young people who need help with preparing for their future to live positively and independently.

This is a semi- independent / shared accommodation setting welcoming a safe and friendly environment which is a 24 hour service. The looked after young people receive support packages to help them to develop their independent skills through professional direct one to one work. As well as assisting them to achieve their goals and aspirations, make positive decisions and move on to build their lives the way they wish to live.

You must be trained and skilled to work with young people with SEBD. Also possess experience dealing with issues such as offending, risk taking, absconding, bullying, self-harm, low self-esteem, eating disorders and OCD. Have to be familiar with the following services Mother / Father and Baby, Outreach

To register with BS Social Care you will need a minimum of 2 years` experience and have a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care working with Children & Young People and be able to supply 5 years referencing. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed which is a cost of £50 or if you have one on the update service then this can be accepted.
