BS Social Care is one of the UK`s leading recruitment specialists ans we are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to work for an established provider that specialises in providing therapeutic care and education for young people with complex needs and learning disabilities.

As a residential support worker, your role will be paramount to making a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable young people. Key role as a residential support worker will be supporting children and young people within educational and residential setting, supporting individuals with profound learning difficulties. Your duties will be supporting with daily routine, meal times, supporting with after school educational tasks, personal care and supporting with activities. Manual handling training is desirable, however full induction and training will be provided.

Ideally you will have worked in a residential setting previously and have experience supporting children and young people with profound learning difficulties. You will be bubbly, be flexible to work various shifts and be to work well in part of a team and have the initiative to think outside the box. Suitable candidates will be open to a temporary with a view to going permanent role and will be flexible to work on a rolling rota basis.
