A brand new opportunity has arisen for a residential support worker, supporting children with learning disabilities.

The role of the residential support worker is to support children with learning disabilities,supporting with autism, epilepsy and some individuals have physical disabilities. Your duties include engaging with the children, communicating and assisting with activities. There is personal care involved in this role. We are offering this role as a temp to perm opportunity with a mixture of days and waking nights.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can be committed and passionate to making a difference to the children. You will need to drive as you may have to use your car to travel to appointment with the service users. We are looking for individuals who are looking for a permanent role at the end but happy to do temporary until this is confirmed.

You will need a minimum of 1 years paid work experience in social care or 6 months with a social care qualification, specifically a NVQ Level 3 in children and young people would be ideal. If you have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
