Residential Support Worker

Job Description

Opportunities for Children`s and Young Adult`s Residential Support Workers have arisen in the Cheadle area, 37.5 regular hours to work with Young Adults aged 19 -25 years with learning disabilities with little or no verbal communication.


The secure community holds a school, college, semi independent living and respite services, with a variety of accessible activities such as a sensory garden and a hydro pool. You will support children and young adults in 4 bedroom houses on site. Your role will include day to day support of the children`s routines, taking them to school, helping them with homework and providing emotional support and guidance, personal care, some education, activities etc...


Our client is looking for an outgoing individuals with great personalities, who will make meaningful relationships with the children and who have a genuine desire to make a real positive difference in these young people`s lives

This is a rewarding role and there is various shifts available including:

o Early shifts between 7.30am - 3.00pm
o Late shifts between 3.00pm - 10.00pm
o Split shifts: 7.30-9.30am & 3-10pm (5 shifts per month, term time only)

We will give you a minimum of 37.50 hours per week and you have the opportunity for overtime. You will also be paid weekly too!!!

All we require is that you have past experience in the Social Care sector or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
