We have a brand new exciting opportunity working with a children residential home that has arisen!

The role of the residential support worker is supporting children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. Your duties will be to ensure the health and safety of the individuals ensuring they are settled and engaging with them. The opportunity is a mixture of days and nights, daily you will be assisting with activities and on the night shifts logging if anyone gets up and settling them back if they are disrupted.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a residential setting, you will be outgoing, sociable and robust. The children and young people may be verbally challenging at times so you must be able to handle this situation and be resilient. This is a temporary booking at the present.

We are looking for individuals who have a minimum of 1 years paid work experience in social care or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. If you have a DBS on the update service then we would love to hear from you!
