Residential support worker
40 hours a week
£19,760 - £21,840 plus sleep in bonus
We have an exciting opportunity for a rewarding role working as a residential support worker. The fabulous company you will be working for provide specialist care for looked after children and young adults. You will help children find their identity; this includes having their values heard. Play is at the heart of this role and you will be assisting the children and young people you are supporting to regulate and express themselves in play-based approaches. You will also ensure they are engaged in projects outside of the home including youth clubs and leisure activities. This role involves a mixture of days and sleep ins.
Daily duties including but not limited to

• Assisting the children with their morning routines
• Preparing and cooking meals
• School pick up and drop off
• General housekeeping duties
• Providing, encouraging and helping planning weekend and evening activities
• Escorting and supporting the children at contact centres

To be considered for this role

• You will have a full UK driver's license (Preferred)
• You will have a QCF level 3 or be willing to work towards it
• You will have a passion for the sector and have a desire for career progression
