Job Description


Our client is seeking out a residential support workers either days or nights to join the service. Supporting a bright young man who at 16years comes with a number of challenges including ADHD ODD and Neuro developmental disorder and all the push boundaries you can expect from any young person. This young chap needs to be treated with dignity and respect at all times. So this is a challenging role and would suite someone really looking to make a difference to this young man`s life.

About the ideal candidate
Ability to engage young people who have had disrupted childhoods.
Able to work in a team as this is a 2:1 position
Able to take own responsibility to carry out daily tasks and duties
Clear writing, recording and reporting skills
You will not only be asked to carry out domesticated duties but also able to communicate well with children that have had a disadvantaged start and face behaviour difficulties too. The perfect individual will defiantly thrive off pressure and have strong problem solving skills. NVQ L3 is desirable but experience within this sector is mandatory.
Requirements
Ideally Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England). Or NVQ3 Health & Social care (children & young people) and commitment to undertake relevant training to fill any gaps identified when compared with Level 3 Diploma.
Good level of education.
Good literacy skills
Good IT Skills
Salary range and benefits
Salary from £21000-£23000 per annum depending on experience
Company progression.
Constant training a development programmes available.
