Job title: Residential Children Support Worker

Contract Type: Temporary MUST BE A DRIVER WITH OWN CAR

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. You'll be part of a dedicated team committed to helping them heal, grow, and reach their full potential.

Role:

• Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people

• Helping to create a warm, safe, and homely environment

• Supporting daily routines such as education, meals, hobbies, and bedtime

• Managing challenging behaviours with empathy and consistency

• Promoting independence, confidence, and life skills

• Keeping accurate records and working as part of a professional care team

Experience:

• A genuine passion for working with children and young people

• Patience, resilience, and a strong sense of empathy

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• 5 years of experience in children residential care setting is essential

• Must be a driver is own car

• QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare OR NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
