Job Description
Children's Residential Support Worker
Weekly Pay
Flexible hours

We are looking for experienced children's workers to support in a well-established children and young people's residential setting in Northampton. The home provides care for young people who have different learning, physical and emotional needs, including health and social needs and behaviours that can challenge.
Working as a Children's Residential Support Worker, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood.
Responsibilities:
" Being ambitious for young people, helping them achieve their goals and engagement
" Build and develop relationships with our young people and encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities offered within the home.
" Conduct formal key work sessions with young people and produce reports for each session
" Be responsible for the effective Safeguarding of the young people within your care and understand how to raise any concerns
" Support our young people with everyday day tasks such as cooking, cleaning, medical appointments, meetings etc.
Requirements for a Children's Home Support worker
" Hold a relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Childcare, or similar.
" MAPPA and Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
" Experience of working with young people that have social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties (desirable)
" Full driving licence is essential, we cannot accept applicants without this.
Shifts available - Early, late, long days, waking and sleep in nights
