Pay: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Brook Street Social Care is recruiting Residential Support Workers to support children and young people in residential settings across Choppington.

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Support children and young people with their daily routines

  • Create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional well-being

  • Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children and young people

  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

  • Full UK Driving Licence
