Job Description

My client is urgently seeking a residential waking night support worker to work in their independent specialist school in the Seaford area. The successful candidate will be working with service users with complex learning disabilities with the aim of assisting them to achieve outstanding success in their learning and preparation for their young adult lives.

The ideal candidate will contribute in transforming the lives of young people with complex learning needs through an innovation, rigorous and compassionate approach to education.

The staff working hours and salary are as follows:
Staff working 52 weeks:
4 nights per week = £19, 897.20 per annum
3 nights per week = £14,922.90 per annum
2 nights per week = £9,948.60 per annum

Staff working term time only:
4 nights per week = £17,989.04 per annum
3 nights per week = £13,491.78 per annum
2 nights per week = £8,994.54 per annum
Hours: 10:00 pm to 10:00 am by rota

In order to be shortlisted the following essential criteria must be met:
-GCSE or equivalent including English, Maths & ICT.
-Commitment to work with young people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
-Willingness to undertake personal/intimate care task where required.
- Clean driving licence and a willingness to drive organisational vehicles once training has been completed.

In return the successful candidate will be rewarded with:
-£8,994 -£19,897 PA
