Residential Worker

  • Location: Newton Aycliffe, County Durham
  • Salary: Up to £23541 per annum + 5% secure allowance
  • Hours: 7:30am-2:45pm and 2:15pm-11pm

Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding community-based care support role helping to change young people's lives? Brook Street Social Care presents this exciting career opportunity working in partnership with one of our clients in Aycliffe Centre in Durham.

This is a secure children's home providing high quality, specialist accommodation for young people between the ages of 10-18 years old. The centre houses vulnerable young people, many of whom have complex problems and need intensive support to help them turn their lives around.

A background in care is not essential however desirable as all training needed will be provided. A driving licence is essential for these roles. This is a permanent role and the starting salary is £23,541 + 5% secure allowance paid monthly from day one.

You must be able to work the below shifts.

Rotating Weekday shifts are:

  • Monday-Friday 7.30am-2.45pm
  • Monday-Friday 2.15pm-11pm

Fortnightly weekend shifts will be:

  • Saturdays 8am-1.15pm and Sundays 1.15pm-11pm
  • Saturdays 1.15pm-11pm and Sunday 8am-1.15pm
