Job Description

We are looking for a Resourcing Support Officer to join our client the Ministry of Justice.

  • Hybrid working, 2 days in the office, 3 at home
  • Location: Leeds city centre (ls1)
  • Hours: Full time - Monday - Friday - 37 hours a week - 9-5 (can be flexible around these hours)
  • Payrate: £15.77 per hour (Annually £30,341)
  • Assignment length: Temporary for 6 months, November 2022 (this could be extended or permanent opportunities may arise for the right candidate)

About the role

The main focus for the successful candidate will be on providing support throughout the recruitment process to vacancy managers across MoJ Commercial and Contract Management, providing advice and support with all aspects of the process, including advertising the role, sifting, interview scheduling and pre-employment checks.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, as there will be multiple campaigns running at any given time, each at different stages of the process. You will need to be able to work at pace, and communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders, who are often senior members of the Directorate. You will also need to have an eye for detail, to ensure errors are identified and resolved at the earliest opportunity, and ensure stakeholders are accountable for meeting deadlines to complete actions to avoid delays in recruitment.

You will also need to ensure records are kept up to date for tracking of campaigns and analysis of trends.

Experience of running recruitment at scale and providing excellent service to stakeholders and HR would be of benefit.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Have good organisational skills as could be running several recruitment campaigns
  • Experience of working in a recruitment or HR background
  • Confidence in using all Microsoft packages (excel, word, teams)
  • Experience in managing a busy email inbox
  • Confident with dealing senior stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Project Management knowledge or experience
  • Civil Service experience
