Retail / Trade Counter Manager
£20,000 - £25,000 pa

Our client based in Telford is looking for an experienced Retail/Trade Counter Manager. This person will be a people's person who will be managing 5 people and posses a "can do" friendly approach and be looking to learn and progress with this rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities:

" Managing a small team of 5 staff
" All round running and management of a Retail outlet
" Advising customers on product specifications
" Liaising with production managers regarding stock and stock levels
" Front of house presence - meeting and greeting customers and trade customers
" Dealing with customer enquiries: face to face, by telephone, by email and from online enquiries
i.e. eBay
" Training, Support and development of staff
" Coordinating and organising deliveries both outbound and inbound
" Utilising in-house computerised systems


Essential experience:

" Good product knowledge: Timber trade, building merchant, garden products, Shed and fencing products
" People management experience
