Job Description

We are working on behalf our of client based in the heart of Birmingham.

They are on the look out for a Risk Manager on a Temporary to Permanent basis, to start in January 2022.

Our client operates in a challenging business environment which requires them to continually assess and identify potential risks, evaluating these to ensure they are appropriately mitigated.
The role requires the use of effective risk management and working closely with the Head of Programme Management & Assurance (PM&A), The Executive Team and Management Team to drive delivery.

Key responsibilities
* Undertake day to day risk management activities including identification, prioritisation, register management, action planning and monitoring; providing support to the Executive Team and Management Team, presenting a monthly position to the Head of PM&A.
* Embed and drive risk culture in the organisation and ensure the principles of the Risk Framework are applied, in liaison with the Head of PM&A to incorporate consistent reporting of project, business and strategic level risks
* Embed the alignment between risk and audit actions in liaison with the Management and Executive Teams
* Produce risk metrics and tolerances for risk appetite in collaboration with the Business Intelligence Team
* Produce regular reporting to the Executive and Management Teams with supporting narrative.
* Produce commentary for the monthly Agreed data Set
* Produce Risk Assurance papers for monthly Executive Team meetings and quarterly ARAC meetings.
* Provide analysis on risk and audit as part of monthly Business Performance Reviews
* Any other duties allocated by senior management that are commensurate with the grade

This role is remote working to fall in line with current government guidelines, should this revert to a hybrid working model in the New Year you will spend 2 days in the office per week.

£10 - £20.50 per hour.
