We are recruiting for a Risk Specialist, ideally with a background in an FCA regulated Government department. The organisation works with employers and those running pensions so that people can save safely for their retirement. As a Risk Specialist, you will be providing risk expertise to senior management and act as a senior business partner to various directorates to help the capture of risks. You will proactively identify and evaluate risks, assist with strategy and policy responses to make sure they take account of aggregate risk positions, provide a second line of defence to senior management and provide assurance to ARAC that your risk processes, mitigations and controls are effective.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have advanced knowledge of key business functions and a strong understanding of key risks and controls
- Have strong networking skills
- Technical knowledge and understanding of financial regulation or pensions
