FULL TRAINING will be provided - the key is YOU! You need to have proven longevity in a position (due to this being a permanent role), the eagerness to learn, to deliver great customer service & to sell!
You must have great communication skills, be computer literate, be super-organised and be keen to build relationships with suppliers/clients.
Would you like to work for a reputable freight broker specialising in express European Road transport and Worldwide Air freight?
You will need to respond swiftly to customer emails and telephone requests for quotes, understanding their shipment requirements and how you can provide solutions. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers to find real time express road freight options at optimal market prices and using your persuasive personality and desire to win against the competition to sell these at the most favourable rates for all parties.
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday flexible to start between 0730 - 0930 (8.5 hours per day with 30 minutes for lunch). You will be required to work one weekend "on call" once every 2 months (this will be from home.)
LOCATION: Leyland, Lancashire - OFFICE-BASED
SALARY: £21,000 - £22,000 with a 6-monthly bonus (negotiable depending upon experience)
