My client in Manchester City Centre is looking for a safeguarding officer to join their team, as soon as possible in the New Year. This role will be initially for 3 months however has the opportunity to be extended for the right candidate.

Main requirements of the temporary role:

" Risk assessments for people who may pose a risk in a Public environment and to formulate risk assessments in this regard;
" Assist with day to day safeguarding related matters;
" Liaise with statutory agencies;
" Support with case management issues

The candidate may have experience from a police or probation background and we would consider experience of risk assessments relating to child protection with transferable skills to assessing adults who pose a risk.

Hourly rate between £15.80 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience and success at interview stage.
