Job Description
SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Brook Street are working EXCLUSIVELY with an established company in Leeds who have an exciting opportunity for a SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE to join their team. We are looking for a confident and resilient individual who will work with a Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Leeds City Centre.
As a growing and evolving company, they have an exciting year ahead they are looking for an organised individual who loves to be busy and enjoys working in a team environment.
WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW…..
- Up to £28,000 basis salary depending on experience and a competitive bonus scheme
- Monday - Friday hours 8.30am- 5.00pm, no weekend working involved
- Fully expensed company vehicle
- Opportunities to grow with the business and develop in the company
KEY RESPONSIBILITES….
- To generate sales leads and enquiries through "cold calling" either via physical visits or telephone calls; successfully converting these into new customer accounts and working to develop them.
- Maintaining and developing existing customer accounts, with a specific responsibility/focus on a portfolio of "high value" existing suppliers.
- To be responsible for developing a good relationship with both existing and potential customers to ensure the retention of the business.
- To manage customer complaints and queries professionally using the prescribed (ISO) procedure.
- To ensure quotes are aligned to current business strategies and market conditions, whilst correctly advising potential customers ensuring all prices quoted accurately reflect grades and discussed and supplied.
- To provide technical advice when necessary, which could involve site visits or more structured training to customer site staff.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED…..
- Must be well organised, efficient and personable with a good, confident telephone manner.
- Full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the 3 sites as required.
- Intermediate standard of IT skills, with knowledge of databases and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Must understand the basic principles of data protection and confidentiality.
