Job Description

Brook Street are pleased to be representing a company based in the heart of Lynchwood Business Park, Peterborough. Our client is an expert in their product and solutions and come with outstanding growth plans for 2024 and beyond - now really is the best time to be joining this business!

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager that has a proven record in building, maintaining and growing client relationships.

You will be responsible for driving sales through telephone and face to face contact with a wide variety of existing customer and source leads to identify, qualify, and develop quality sizeable, sustainable sales opportunities for the business.

Salary: up to £28,000 (OTE £32,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (Fully office based)

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Previous Sales or Account Management experience
  • Technical background or interest would be beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to research and identity new business
  • Ability to lean and gain in-death product knowledge
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Accountability for own workload
  • Resilience and motivation - sometimes within this industry it can be a 'slow burner', being able to pick yourself up and not become deflated and persevere.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and accounts already existing and being the go-to for the client
  • Driving Licence ideal for position due to attending off site meetings, however not essential
  • Strong project management skills and focus on deadlines and organisation
  • Excellent work ethic and focus on productivity and results driven
