Job Description

This Engineering company in Oldham are looking for a talented administrator to join their sales team and to also support other departments as and when required.

Your duties will include:
Supporting the sales team fundamentally
Booking in enquiries and sending quotations to customers on a daily basis
Following up on quotations submitted to clients
Obtaining detailed feedback from clients
Respond to customer enquiries
Keeping quotations up to date through in-house systems (training will be provided)
Maintain the sales database, updating contact information
Prepare sales packs for new business meetings
Research potential new sales opportunities based on specified criteria
Answering the phone and dealing with enquiries
Supporting other departments within the business with administrative tasks

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Ability to work well in a team
Previous experience in an administrative role
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Confident liaising with customers over the phone
Strong IT skills and happy to learn new systems
Positive and pro-active approach to work

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5
