Job Description

Job Title: Sales Administrator

Location: Scunthorpe

Salary: Competitive

Contract: Maternity Cover

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:15pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:45pm

We are currently looking for a Sales Administrator to play a vital role in supporting the Head of Sales and Sales Team within a world leading construction company based in North Lincolnshire.

You could be working for industry leading company, growing year on year in an environment driven by passion and excellence. An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administrator to join their high performing sales team supporting the team in all administrative processes.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring policies and procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Working closely with designated sales executives aiding and supporting them in customer relationships and the recruitment of business.
  • Ensuring that the administrative processes that are required to fulfil customer orders are organised and carried out efficiently i.e. orders, replies to enquiries related to lead times and stocks whenever appropriate.
  • Check that all documentation / information received from customer is clear, precise and acceptable in terms of quantity, size/gauge, specifications, price, delivery dates etc.
  • Processing sales orders and delegate to production planning for allocation and planning.
  • Monitors the progress of orders being processed and updates the customer.
  • Highlight to Line Manager any stock problems that arise.
  • Ensure customer's profiles and parts databases are up to date on the computer system at all times.
  • Follow all the requirements of quality standards a they apply to the role.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

Desired skills and knowledge:

  • Sales administration experience - desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator with good personable skills
  • Can work on systems confidently including Microsoft packages
