Job Description
I am currently recruiting for an office administrator for me client based on the outskirts of Newcastle
Hours Monday to Thursday 7.45am till 4.30pm and Friday 8am till 4pm
Salary £18,486.00 - £20,950.80 depending on experience.
Purpose of Job
- The processing of sales orders, dealing with visiting customers, giving advice and guidance on product recommendations in a friendly & professional manner.
- Maintain a positive contribution to an efficient, motivated group of individuals committed to providing outstanding levels of customer service.
- Positively contributing to the 'can do' team ethos within the company.
- The timely completion of all associated administrative tasks some of which are listed below. These will include: - (but are not exhaustive)
- Detailed Duties & Responsibilities
- The accurate & timely processing of sales orders onto the computer system, and the production of delivery notes & invoices and other associated administrative tasks as instructed by the sales office manager.
- Processing sales orders received from Nationwide Hygiene Supplies via the EDI Nationwide Member Hub.
- Processing of Thomas Owen invoices for Nationwide via the EDI hub.
- The processing of completed despatch sheets, including sorting the proof of delivery notes into numeric order, scanning & filing.
- Answering the telephone within 3 rings and routing incoming calls.
- Dealing with customers that call into the showroom/trade counter providing assistance and/or product advice as necessary.
- Receiving and handling cash from customers.
- Receiving and handling cash from drivers.
- Processing credit & purchasing card payments.
- Dealing with customer queries in a helpful & professional manner.
- Chasing out, and liaising with the warehouse any outstanding or late orders.
- Providing assistance to and liaising with the purchasing department as and when necessary e.g. "booking in" deliveries from suppliers.
- Maintaining a clean & tidy personal working environment.
