Job Description

Do you have a background in sales? Are you looking for your first step into working in the Insurance industry? Would you like the opportunity to earn money while you complete a qualification in Insurance Broking?

I am recruiting for Sales Advisors for a rapidly growing Insurance company throughout Birmingham. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced insurance office operating in all areas of domestic insurance claims who are willing to train and sponsor new entrants into the industry.

THE ROLE
This is a sales focused role and will involve liaising with customers, handling their insurance claims effectively and proficiently and answering any questions or queries they may have as well as all general administrative duties. You will be required to make outbound sales calls to maximise sales opportunities and to follow all sales leads.
Working within our customer service office, you will also be the first point of contact for customers making an insurance claim. You will strive to build great relationships with both new and current customers, fulfilling their needs and requirements.
The company is willing to sponsor successful applicants in their CII qualification.

TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Working in the Sales Advisors team, the role will require candidates to; -
Make outbound calls to current and potential customers
Follow up all leads in the capture of new and extended business
Generate new business leads for the branch to follow
Receive inbound calls from customers looking to make an insurance claim
Record all relevant details in concise and accurate manner
Complete all follow up action as required to close outstanding cases
Complete all relevant administration and documentation

HOURS

Monday to Fridays - 8.00am - 5.30pm
There will be a requirement to work every alternate Saturday 9.00 - 1.30

A proven sales background
Excellent Computer Skills
Lots of initiative
A positive attitude
The ability to think on your feet
A background in insurance is preferred but not essential
