Sales Advisor

Job Description

Brook Street have the pleasure of assisting our client on the search for an experienced Sales Advisor within their Head Office based in Huntingdon.

Our client is seeking someone who is confident, focused and thrives in fast paced environments. Being able to multi-task is key to being able to manage the daily workload and having high attention to detail is essential.

Hours: Monday - Friday - between 7am - 6pm (37.5hrs)

Salary up to £26,000

  • Responsibility for first class customer experience to include:
  • Being engaging and welcoming to our customers to build key relationship
  • Answering and making phone calls
  • Logging all enquiries, collating, and sending quotations
  • Checking & raising purchase orders
  • Invoice Queries & Ticket Requests
  • Always maintaining a professional standard whilst working in a high paced business
  • Constant attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace high pressure environment
  • Organising refunds for customers or arranging credits to be signed off by Supervisor
  • Being willing to learn about the group to ensure all enquiries can be dealt with or passed to correct department efficiently.
  • Setting up companies and individual site contacts on the portal.
  • Diary management
  • Collating incoming sales enquiries via email, phone and through sales representatives
  • Diary/Inbox management for Sales across various inboxes, ensuring responses to quotes, queries and orders are in our SLAs
  • Opening credit and pay as you go accounts for customers.
  • Liaising with internal department such as transport to ensure best service is received by the customer
  • Identify cross selling and up-selling opportunities and gather further information on enquiries.
  • Identifying opportunities to Sales Executives from their pipeline for follow-up conversations, to support maintaining to a high standard
  • General administration duties including report production, data analysis, completing supplier/ subcontractor questionnaires, scanning, producing proformas, organising tickets, printing, and filing.
