Job Title: Sales and Warehouse Coordinator

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Salary: £20,000.00 per annum - no commission paid but if sales are increased substantially a bonus will be awarded.

Location: Chorley, Lancashire

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working for a supplier and distributor of plastic building products this job is a split job between sales, predominantly telesales and warehouse and driving duties.

Sales Position

-Selling by telephone during the hours of 9.30 - 1.00 and 2.00 to 3.30.

-Cold calling prospective customers and telling them about the products that we do and the service that we can offer them.

-Sending out catalogues and literature packs and diarising for future calls.

-Maintaining the current customer base making sure all present customers are happy - monitoring who is ordering and ringing accordingly.

-The person will also be involved in answering the telephone dealing with queries and taking orders and processing orders via the Sage program.

Warehouse / Driver

-During the time when the person is not doing sales they would be expected to work in the warehouse, dealing with customers on the counter, helping pick and load the vans for deliveries, offloading deliveries from suppliers, keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.

-During the busy summer months then holiday cover would sometimes be required for more hours in the warehouse and it could be possible that the person could be required to deliver goods in one of our IVECO vans.

Position Requirements

-Must have full clean driving licence. Have some sales experience, whether it be in telesales or field sales but if a naturally outgoing person would be willing to train on the sales side.

-Must be numerate and literate, able to deal with money and calculations on quotations and pricing.

-Must be computer literate - we operate the Sage accounting program so some experience with processing sales invoices and quotations would be an advantage.
