Job Description

My client is offering an exceptional salary package for an experienced Sales Consultant. The company is based in Hemel Hempstead and was set up in the early 90`s. Since then it`s gone from strength to strength, which is why there is now vacancy in the team.

They provide ERP software solutions and service packages for their clients, mainly for medium sized construction firms and industrial business.

My client has a 100% staff rating on Glassdoor, with positive comments about the pleasant working environment, core values and benefits available to staff members.
You will be working within a defined geographical area, and responsible for developing and converting a pipeline of new business opportunities within the wholesale, distribution and merchant sector. There are also leads which are generated by internal Telesales staff, company marketing and the use of a large customer base installed over the last 16 years.

You must have a passion for selling and be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and inter personnel skills, as well as drive and enthusiasm that reflects the company`s ambitious plans for growth. You should have experience in field sales and ERP software. You need demonstrate the ability to learn on your own, show initiative, and self-learn the company software. You also need to be within an hour`s reach of Hemel Hempstead.

This is a very involved, technical sales role. Ideally you will have an I.T. background/interest. You will be based in the Hemel Hempstead Office, but expect to be on the road visiting clients, presenting the software and building relationships. You should be confident to present at Director level, professional and well presented.

Starting salary 40k, with a generous increase after the first successful year, commission, work car and work phone.
