Job Description

12 Month Temporary - Sales Consultant

Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Sales consultant to work with our client in the high end Retailer on a temporary basis for a 12 month period.

Overview:

Successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets whilst representing the client's brand. They will be responsible for building and developing a client base to grow business and will manage the end to end purchase process. The person in this role will deliver a premium customer experience that will grow both sales and loyalty to our client's brand. This position will be based in the Edinburgh City Centre and will be a full-time position consisting of 5 days per week, Monday to Sunday.

The Role:

In this role you will:

- Be responsible for achieving sales targets and aiming to exceed targets in a retail environment
- Take ownership for the customer throughout the whole purchase process
- Deliver a premium customer experience for every consumer
- Accurately process orders and arrange customer deliveries
- Ensure all appliances and displays are clean and correctly labelled
- Demonstrate the products with passion and enthusiasm to generate sales
- Ensure that the standards required you will maintain all aspects of the Concession area are maintained.
- Be fully knowledgeable with all products, prices, model numbers, features and benefits, particularly the models on display.
- Attend team meetings and training courses at Head Office as required.
- Attend and support our Clients Trade Shows, Exhibitions or Special events as required.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have experience of working directly with customers in a competitive sales role, experience working within luxury department stores or hospitality sales back ground is highly advantageous. This is a customer facing role, therefore excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of IT systems (SAP) although comprehensive training will be provided. Good computer skills including Microsoft and outlook packages are also required.
