My Blackwater based engineering company is looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships and finding new customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
Visiting potential customers for new business
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers
Making accurate, rapid cost calculations
Providing customers with quotations
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Gathering market and customer information
Representing your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with your company's managers
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
Liaising with Tampoprint AG and other suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders
Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Proven work experience as a sales representative
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
The ability to build productive and professional business relationships with customers
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
BS/BA degree or equivalent
The role will include a smartphone and laptop for business use
Option of a vehicle as part of salary sacrifice scheme (Vauxhall Corsa, fuel reimbursed for business miles)
Standard office hours will be flexible with variable start and finish time:
7.5 hour day with 1 hour lunch and breaks, but start time can be from 07:30-08:30 and finish time can be from 16:00-17:00.
