An exciting opportunity within a global organisation has now arisen for a Business Development Manager You will be selling high, medium and low voltage electrical apparatus, power transmission and distribution equipment. This is to cover South West and you should have sales experience with engineering background, ideally based within Bristol or Somerset area
Responsibilities within the role will include:
To develop key accounts/sales in the UK by developing strategic plans, identifying prospects, preparing presentations, negotiating rates and schedules. You will identify, consult and follow up prospective leads with key industrial OEM's (original equipment manufacturers) and regional distributors.
Your customer base will also include wholesalers, building companies and electrical solutions companies. The role will involve maintaining the existing relationships along with developing new business.
Actively participate in business strategies, new products development and full sales-cycle support meetings
You should have a proven track record in sales within the electrical sector and be a self starter with an enthusiastic and motivated attitude. The ability to work under pressure is essential along with strong communication skills.
Company car or car allowance is provided. Salary according to experience plus bonus scheme
