Sales Executive

Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client to recruit a new full time and permanent Sales Executive to join their team.

As a Sales Executive, you'll embark on an exciting journey of learning and growth. You'll receive guidance from experienced professionals and immerse yourself in the world of foreign direct investment (FDI), trade and sales.

Your responsibilities will include outreach, prospecting, negotiation, ultimately helping us build a robust pipeline to achieve our growth plans. This hands-on experience will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in your sales career. Your key focus will be on sales in Europe and US.


Responsibilities

  • Create a list of prospective clients and qualify opportunities in line with the strategic sales plan.
  • Reach out to prospects proactively through various channels to establish a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Conduct sales calls with prospects and schedule online and in-person meetings according to agreed sales activity targets.
  • Handle incoming sales inquiries via phone or email
  • Collaborate closely with our sales team to boost revenue and surpass goals.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to pinpoint new business prospects and potential clients.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of innovative sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering outstanding service and support.
  • Monitor and assess sales data to recognize trends and growth opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and plan a schedule of face-to-face meetings with prospects.
  • Facilitate and participate in face-to-face meetings for potential conversions as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design targeted campaigns that support pipeline growth and sales objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales activities and pipeline progress.
  • Support and assist the sales team in preparing sales proposals and responding to RFPs


Criteria

  • At least 1-year experience in a sales position and proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related subject preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats
  • Demonstrated success in collaborative team settings
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Open to learning and adjusting to new challenges
  • An understanding of economic development and foreign direct investment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • To be highly motivated with a strong drive for success.
