Job Description

My client is a global event management organisation based in E1. They specialise in setting up large conferences. They serve a diverse range of industries and place a focus on the challenges and opportunities resulting from technological and strategic innovation.

They are currently recruiting for a sales executive who has a passion for conference or sponorship sales.

The role:

" Initially you'll take a seat within a driven, highly motivated sales team and have a golden opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.
" You will sell delegate places to the hottest leads across a variety of industry events and receive commission for every single sale you make.
" Working as part of dedicated delegate sales team to hit and exceed revenue targets
" Using excellent customer service to qualify and nurture sales leads
" Closing individual and group delegate registrations for senior-level 'business to business' conferences worldwide
" Working in a targeted driven environment towards incentivised event-based and annual revenue targets
" Receive training on the sales techniques required to be a successful sales executive
" The potential to progress into a consultative business development role focusing on higher level exhibition and sponsorship packages OR into a conference production role looking at creating high end, commercially viable events where you will gain a wide range of transferrable skills


Requiements:


" Individuals looking to work hard and carve out a successful career in sales or conferences
" Motivation to progress quickly
" Excellent verbal and written communication skills
" Confidence on the phone talking to senior level executives from major industries
" Ability to prioritise tasks and organise time efficiently
" Money-motivated with a determined outlook and a strong drive for results
" Self-motivated with a thirst for learning
" Strong team players who work well collaboratively and independently
" Entrepreneurial l flair is a real bonus
" Previous sale experience is not essential, but it will be considered a plus


Salalry is £21,000 basic with 4% commission uncapped OTE 25-30k in your first year
