Sales Executive (Logistics)

Job Description

My client are a market leading courier in the north, and provide a same day logistics service.They are now looking for a field sales person who will work from the Cheadle based office - however will be flexible to progress into a Field Sales / Account Manager and go out and meet clients and search for new business opportunities. This role is also to focus on developing existing clients for the company by quoting and trying to gain additional business.

This job is ideal for someone who is looking to advance their career within the industry. This role can be changed for the right person and if they are successful.
Main duties:
Business Development
" Quotations
" Negotiations
" Client visits
" B2B, B2C
" Completing monthly pricing spreadsheets for various clients
" Following up on quotes
" Help to build and maintain relationships with clients

Working hours are 8:30 - 5pm Monday - Friday - flexibility occasionally given the nature of the role
Salary is £20,000 - £30,000 with £800-£2000 per month commission/bonus
