Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a fun, energetic and growing organisation in Coventry! As a Sales Manager you will be responsible to manage and lead 2 sales people as well as sell however you will be given warm leads daily to convert.
Your team is responsible for selling apprenticeship programmes and commercial training on the topics of leadership, management, project management, sales, customer service and also digital learning solutions.

Ideally you will have a background in selling within the learning and development industry or have transferable skills in a similar industry.

Main Duties;
o Responsible for responding to and progressing inbound commercial training enquiries relating to face to face and virtual in-house courses and programmes

o Responsible for business development, facilitating and progressing apprenticeship programmes, warm leads are given to you daily to convert

o Conducting thorough fact finds with clients over the phone, via face to face or virtual meeting to identify needs and scheduling proposal submissions

o Producing proposals, quotations and tenders end to end

o Conducting weekly and thorough follow up of existing clients/pipeline via salesforce reports

o Pitching, presenting and conducting post-proposal meetings with clients

o Creating and providing prospecting campaigns and other lead gen activity

o Scheduling and running weekly sales team meeting for sharing of key information

o Coaching for sales performance and developing wider sales/L&D team

o Providing and analysing accurate weekly forecast and current pipeline data

o Reviewing and improving closing ratios and other sales team KPIs

o Reviewing and improving margins for self and other sales team members

o Sales driven and motivated
o Management experience
o Learning & Development experience is preferred
o Personable
o Able to lead and motivate the team
o Able to work in a busy & high-pressured environment
