Job Description

Sales Operations Manager

Our client is a fast-growing technology and business transformation services provider. Focusing on digital transformation, we partner with a mixture of private and public sector businesses supporting them to design, implement and optimize their digital strategy. They have a strong pedigree in End User Compute, Cloud, Security and Connectivity solutions and operational management.

They are embarking on a structured plan for growth and have built an aggressive but achieveable growth plan to expand our customer footprint and our value delivered to each and every customer.

They recognize the need to be excellent in their sales execution bringing differentiated value propositions to market and are seeking exemplary sales professionals to lead this charge.

As the Sales Operations Manager , you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all processes and systems that underpin the core operations of the sales team. You will be expected to drive continuous improvement of processes and tools and communicating change to the sales organisation as well as coordinating and delivering training for new sales starters.

The sales operations manager will support the sales leadership with driving the regular rhythm of the sales organisations including, forecasting, deal reviews, key account reviews and organising sales meetings,

You will also be responsible for ensuring Salesforce is optimised to meet the needs of the business, leading the ongoing development of the platform, and maximising its functionality to drive efficiency in our sales operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of data in Salesforce instance, working with the sales team to ensure they are maintaining accurate and up to date details of deals and account information as well as.

You will be the sales point of contact for engaging with colleagues in our finance and operations teams to ensure they have the data and insight feeds they require from sales to ensure they can forecast and effectively deliver contracted services.
Driving the Rhythm of the Sales Function
" Support Company sales leadership with scheduling of sales team meetings, training, account planning, key account reviews as well as reviews with BU leads and finance.
" Ensure sales team attendance and preparation at reviews and meetings
" Provision of sales management information including regular sales forecasting, pipeline data and analysis.
" Act as primary liaison for Sales to various departments and enhance collaboration and consistency within the organisation.
" Educate new sales starters and train other internal members of staff (Pre-sales, Practice Heads, Business Ops) on sales processes.
" Support sales leadership with the ongoing delivery of the sales transformation plan
Salesforce, Systems and Processes
" Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline process, ensuring accuracy of opportunities and integrity of other data within the Salesforce system.
" Ensure the internal governance process for relevant opportunities is adhered to and record this within Salesforce system for audit purposes.
" Responsible for resolution of all sales related system queries, to allow for timely month end closure.
" Identify and deliver improvement in both reporting and system usage and effectively communicate change.
" Work to invent and simplify processes to ensure constant improvement of operations and sales enablement.
" Proactively source feedback on implemented changes and provide solutions for conflicts and concerns.
" Develop new tools and material to improve sales productivity.
" Initiate system changes through engagement with suppliers and keeping functionality knowledge current, in order to keep Salesforce system, fit for purpose.
" Work with comms team to manage the Sales SharePoint / Intranet site and folders, where these files can be easily accessed by the sales team and other relevant stakeholders.
