Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Sales Order Processer on a 6 month fixed term contract for a very well-known business based in Abingdon. They are looking for someone to join their team in the new year, they have fantastic benefits and luxurious offices! Sound good so far? Then please read on.

As a sales order processer you will be providing full support to bulk order processing regions. You will be handling escalations, installer issues, complex orders (including licence transfers) and credit requests and dealing with them in a professional and timely manner. You will carefully monitor orders in all statuses for the regions you are responsible for to ensure adherence to 48 hour SLA and prompt product delivery.

As a sales order processer you will be building excellent relationships with sales, distribution managers, supply chain and other internal staff to ensure communication channels and escalation paths are. You will be liaising with distributors, integration partners and external partners to resolve order queries promptly and professionally. You will also have the chance to conduct regular reviews of orders for your region in all statuses and ensure that any orders with issues are identified promptly and the issues are resolved (liaising with SC/IT/TL).

To be successful as an order processer, you will need to have previously worked in an office environment, have good customer skills and be good using excel. If you have ever used Salesforce, JIRA Excel or SAP, that is desirable but not essential. You will need to be self-motivated and have great verbal and written communications for this role. Attention to detail is also very important when dealing with orders.
