Job Description

Part Time - Pro Rata £17,500 (34hrs) rising to £18,500 (34hrs) after 3 months successful probationary.

Full time Roles available for the right candidates.

Based in Chester

Driving Licence with own car would be an advantage as the company would be difficult to get too via public transport.

We are looking for versatile conversationalists who can retain repeat business and create new.

The ideal candidate will be from a Business to Business (B2B)/ Cold calling B2B / Internal Sales/ Sales and Marketing or over the phone background. Must be a confident and outgoing character as your main role would be outbound calling to gain new business and build relationships.

To meet financial targets per project, by contacting companies to secure their fund raising support by sponsoring advertising space in various charity and hospice publications

Contacting companies by telephone and email in relevant geographical locations to the charity and publication to obtain cold sales.

Targeting companies who have previously supported the charity or publication to gain repeat business

Categorising and sourcing of new leads for potential supporters, utilising the internet, charity websites and

Establishing the correct contact for corporate social responsibility within the target business

Engaging with company Directors and requesting their support for the particular charity or hospice through the sponsoring of advertising space within the publication

Educating clients on the benefits of their support

Up selling advert size and colour

Closing the sale

Completing relevant electronic paperwork and submitting this to the admin team for invoicing

Updating information held on Sage/Excel regarding contacts and addresses

Carry out any other duties commensurate with the role, as required

Person Specification:

Confident communicator via email, telephone and letter

Target driven to meet per project targets, weekly financial targets and call targets

Able to build rapport and influence at Director level and above

An understanding of, and empathy for, the hospice movement

Able to appeal to the philanthropic and corporate social responsibility aspect of business

Persistent and determined

Ethical attitude and approach

An organised and structured approach

Proven sales skills; rapport building, introducing the service and gaining commitment

Listening skills

Works effectively with repetitive tasks

Basic to intermediate working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Email

Attention to detail

Positive, cheerful and friendly
