Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of a market leading, European based agricultural company for a highly organised and fast paced individual to join their production planning team on a temporary to permanent contract.
The role will be based out of my client's distribution hub in Shepshed, this offers free on site car parking and is easily accessible via public transport.
The main purpose of this position is to work closely with internal departments to support where necessary in ensuring that sales and purchase contracts are processed, and that delivers are made within agreed time frames without issue. Other duties are;
" Processing sales on internal systems
" Being on had to offer support to customers, this can include stock enquiries, price checks and handling complaints.
" Assisting with the reporting of supply and demand of different products
" Working closely with distribution teams to arrange collection and deliveries of stock
" Filing, credit/debit notes, invoice cancellations, new account set-up forms and other financial admin duties as required
" Informing customers of upcoming product launches
" Contract management
Candidates that have come from a senior customer service or sales support role would be perfect, also experience working within logistics would be preferential. You must also be able adapt to forever changing circumstances and demand levels and must have strong mathematical skills.
This role will start as a 3 month temporary contract before being made permanent. The total working hours are 37.50 per week on a set pattern of 09.00 - 17.30 Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate of pay is £10.00 per hour, once taken on permanent the annual salary will be £19,500 per annum.
