Sales Support Advisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Support Agent on a full-time permanent basis for our client based in Lincoln.

Acting as a Sales Support Agent, the key purpose of the job is Promoting, Protecting, Developing and Extending the business. If you are a quick learner and looking for a new challenge this role could be for you.

Job role:

" Ensure you are up-to-date with company procedures relevant to your position.

" Take issues (where possible) away from the sales team.

" Answer inbound (internal and external) call and make outbound calls to customers.

" Build strong customer relationships internal and external

" Manage customer expectations to ensure our commitment to the customer.

" Be familiar with all of the complaint and customer service procedures to ensure issues are resolved as quickly as possible.

" Be familiar with all of the ordering processes to ensure no order discrepancy rates against the company.

" Be accurate when ordering products and services.

" Sell the range of company products and services. relevant to your job role,

" Create leads for either the Field Sales Consultants and or any other partner and where and when appropriate, make appointments for them.

" Keep yourself informed on any changes to company product and services portfolio and any changes in pricing relevant to your job role.

" Develop customer contact strategies.

" Work such hours as are required to meet the responsibilities of your role and to maintain the service necessary to meet our customers' needs.

" Take responsibility along with management to ensure you are up-to-date with training on products, procedures and processes.

" Support Sales Teams


The successful candidate:

" Strong Relationship building skills.
" Must be capable of prioritization of multiple tasks.
" Be able to identify and generate new base business.
" Ability to train and learn new products
" Ability to train team members
" Ability to identify and generate new business.
" Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
" Be driven and determined.
" Self-motivated.
" Ability to communicate at all levels.
" Flexible approach to meet the business requirements
" Identify sales opportunities
" Qualify, maximise and close sale
" Display a sound knowledge, understanding and empathy of a customer's business and own problems until fully resolved.
" Have a professional outlook.


This is a Monday-Friday position - Salary 18k + bonus
