Job Description

9 Month Maternity Leave cover
Tues-Thurs 9-5 may have to work additional hours to the business needs
Must be a DRIVER!
Brand Ambassador for Sekonda/Accurist/Limit
" Essential:
" Full driving license. 1- 2 years retail sales experience. The ability to communicate at all levels and to have excellent organisational skills. Smart appearance. Educated to GCSE level. 2 years+ merchandising experience with a watch brand/jeweller.
" Desirable:
" 1-2 years Retail sales experience in a Multiple Jeweller.
Type of Candidate would need to be enthusiastic, outgoing, confident, friendly and approachable.

" Purpose:
" To visit designated H Samuel, F Hinds, Debenhams and Travel Retail Accounts. Ad hoc merchandiser work may be requested outside of this parameter.


" Adhere to the below:
o Ensure that all stands are to planogram.
o All relevant POS is in place and has been received.
o Missing stock is identified and the store room checked.
o Any out of stocks recorded.
o Update blog with visit photography and commentary
o Train the watch associate to maintain stands to planogram at all times.
o Build relationships with staff at all levels in the store from watch associate to store management and make them aware of goals.

" Standard practice:
o First call at 9am and leave last call after 5pm
o Achieve 4-5 calls a day where possible.
o Complete blog post/record for each account and this must be completed after each call.
o Itineraries need to be economical and workable. Any changes to itinerary must be communicated with 24 hours' notice.
o Excessive miles should be avoided and hotel stays promoted and planned to ensure the most efficient practice is adopted.
o Car servicing should be arranged that it does not disrupt the day.
o Monthly reports should be informative and to the set layout.
o Urgent matters should be reported immediately to the support team at Head Office.
o Cars should be kept clean at all times and all POS carried to be kept in good condition.
o Each merchandiser should keep a file about their area noting key points.


" Build and maintain effective working relationships with all High Street accounts and where specified Travel Retail accounts. Arrange meeting with District Managers on your area. Discuss and identify store visit priorities with District Managers. Try to attend District Manager meetings and always discuss presentations for such meetings with the Commercial Manager and team. These meetings must be recorded and sent to the Commercial Manager unless she has attended.
