Job Description

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5pm
2 x 15-minute breaks, 1 x 45-minute lunch
Permanent role

My client, a provider of fuel cards and other fleet services, is rapidly expanding and growing their business and is looking for a Team Leader to join their busy and energetic sales team. They are a scale-up fuel and fleet services business operating out of a dynamic and hungry sales office based in the heart of Birmingham`s Colmore Business District and they are looking for driven, passionate, and ambitious individuals who share their desire to be on top. This is a demanding role and requires real determination and a commitment to overcoming day to day challenges. " Allocation of new lead data
" Ensure leads are being fully utilised and worked effectively
" Implement Incentive Drivers to drive productivity
" Identify Skills Gaps with Agents and implement development plans
" Main point of escalation for all agent queries
" Completing Application Checks
" Supporting the roll out and adherence to new processes
" Ensuring sales boards are accurately completed by their team members
" Responsibility for overall team productivity and driving sales performance
" Manage and distribute inbound calls and communications
" Working with Sales Operations Manager to develop and implement new strategies and initiatives
" Responsibility for the learning and development plans for all team members
" Monitor calls to ensure quality is maintained
" Perform all team 121s during the month
" Plan and deliver coaching sessions

" A proven track record in sales with a credible reputation inside and outside of the business
" A willingness to lead by example and always display appropriate behaviours in line with our core values
" An ability to identify gaps in understanding or skill sets in themselves and others
" Genuine passion for sales and performance improvement
" A desire to coach and develop others with the ability to develop and implement improvement plans
" Calm and measured approach to conflict resolution and escalation
" An understanding of their role within the wider sales function context with the ability to both deliver and follow instruction
" Must be a team player through and through with a focus on their teams` success AND the success of all other teams and the business as a whole
" Clear understanding of the bigger commercial context and impact of your work
" Approachable and empathetic with strong emotional intelligence
