Job Description

Based just outside Newport, our client is looking for a highly presentable and confident individual with a recent background in sales administration and customer service. Logistics or freight experience would be useful but not essential.

This is not a sales role but experience of sales or sales administration would be beneficial. Your duties will include organising daily production, tracking of planned production to actuals, booking of shipments, upkeep of registers, customer service.t.

You will be liaising with the companies UK customers over the phone and providing all aspects of administration within the office possibly including: sales order processing, answering telephone enquiries from customers and suppliers, taking, placing and organising the dispatch of orders including packing and liaising with the technical workshop. You will also be involved in maintaining databases and collating data for sales and marketing reports.

The position is full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week working on site in their head office. This is a temporary role for 6 to 12 months with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
