M-F 7-4.30 + Sat 7-11.30 - overtime paid over 45 hours
9-11 PH

Good Hourly Rate & Overtime Pay - 9-11PH+overtime.

Scale Operator
The applicant will need a basic computer skills as their main duties will be to operate the scale. This means that they will be working on a scale for much of the day purchasing metal form customers which can require a lot of manual handling. Due to this they will need to spend time learning the different metals and how we grade/purchase them on our system. Other duties would correspond with that of a GYO (FLT driving, cleaning metal, house keeping etc)
Applicants will have to undergo a DBS check due to the nature of the job.
Who are we looking for?
Enthusiastic Site Operative to join our busy depot team in Brentford.
If you have any type of experience in operating loading shovels, container holders, 360 excavators, fork lift trucks or any other similar plant, we want you to apply.
What you will be doing:
" Unloading, loading, processing and transporting various materials on site.
" Thoroughly grading and weighing incoming materials to ensure quality is maintained.
" Safely operating and be willing to learn the operation of various items of mobile plant on site.
" Conduct regular checks on machinery and work areas, reporting problems accordingly.
" Actively participating in our strong safety culture.
" Ensuring the company Health & Safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to.
" Monitoring all visiting suppliers - including PPE compliance.
" Assisting depot management as required.
