The successful Scrum Master can expect to be at the forefront of all strategic decisions relating to the Agile roadmap and with be a key advocate in driving best scrum practice.
The successful Scrum Master will already be a fully certified Scrum Master and will have experience of delivering complex agile projects involving multiple teams. Experience of delivering B2B or B2C web-based projects is also required, as will the ability to work with on and offshore development teams.
This role is critical for the successful implementation of the company's strategic objectives and rollout of its new products and services within the rapidly growing digital Trade Finance market.
Purpose Of Role:
Responsible for overseeing the delivery of software projects within an Agile development environment, to time, cost, scope and quality.This includes owning the E2E delivery plan covering requirements (backlog) preparation and monitoring Sprint progress.
This is very much a "hands on" role within a small and growing company where the role holder will be expected to work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Developers and Testers (some roles are 'in-house' and others 'near shore') to ensure critical dependencies are managed and issues blocking progress are quickly resolved.
·Degree qualification in a related subject
·Experience in managing the E2E delivery of complex agile software products / projects involving multiple Agile teams (E)
·Experience in delivery B2B or B2C web-based software products (E)
·Expert in ScrumMaster Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum and Kanban), tools (e.g. JIRA), techniques and KPIs (E)
·Experience working with both internal and nearshore product and technical delivery teams (E)
·Able to deliver to agreed time, cost, scope and quality KPIs, and ability to spot and resolve issues quickly (E)
·Strong leadership skills.Ability to understand the business and technical complexities, and able to drive both Product and Technical teams to ensure maximum productivity and business value.Where necessary challenge the "status" quo and able to "think outside the box" where necessary (E)
·Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and relationship management skills covering both internal and external stakeholders / customers (E)
