Job Description

Our public sector client would like someone with at least six months experience in a maintenance role, experience of operating a Ride-on or Pedestrian Mowers is desirable but not essential.


Duties of this role will include;

1. Ensuring grounds are maintained in accordance with the required standards

2. Operating plant and tools necessary to perform assigned duties including mowing equipment, strimmers, compact tractors and any other equipment required to complete assigned tasks

3. Carrying out routine maintenance activities including litter and leaf collection, hedge cutting, weed control operations, grass cutting, shrub pruning, floral planting, pitch marking and any other duties required

4. Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are adhered to

The hours of work are 0800 -1630 Monday to Thursday, with an early finish every Friday at 1300. The rate of pay is £9.36 per hour.
