Job Description

The Midlands Leadership Academy is looking for a dynamic, proactive and forward thinking individual to join the Leadership and Lifelong Learning team as a Business Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team working across the whole of the NHS England and NHS Improvement Midlands region to deliver high quality and innovative leadership development to our NHS workforce in the region.

Our work involves supporting the 11 ICSs, 42 trusts and 39 CCGs that are in the Midlands region, to ensure that together they provide excellent services that meet the needs of patients. Our goal is to ensure everything we offer is inclusive and truly based on the needs of our systems and communities. Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of administrative processes and procedures to enable you to support both the business management function and the other work streams across the team. Prior knowledge of leadership development would be advantageous.

This is a temporary role until 31st March 2022 with a preferred start date as soon as possible.

Your role you will be absolutely integral in providing high quality administrative and business support services to the new team, ensuring the team has the resources and support it needs to deliver the highest quality leadership programmes and interventions for the region that truly understand the ever changing needs and challenges of our NHS colleagues in the 21st century. ?This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of a team that has compassionate leadership and inclusivity at its heart.

Your role will be varied working primarily in the business management work stream and supporting the other work streams across the academy as a whole, with tasks including but not limited to relating to the following:
