A local Government body based in West Malling, are looking for an experienced secretary/administrator to provide secretarial support.
This is a full-time (37 hrs per week, Mon-Fri) temporary role due to run for 7 months initially.
Typical responsibilities include but are not restricted to -
" Proving correspondence, memos and reports
" Scheduling appointments and travel
" Attending meetings and taking notes
" Handling telephone calls, emails and post
The successful candidate will be -
" Able to work independently
" Able to prioritise tasks and manage a heavy work load
" Strong communication, verbal and written
" Good telephone manner
Required skills/experience -
" Previous experience in PA/Secretarial/Administrative positions
" Comfortable working with MS Office packages
" Minimum typing speed of 45 / 50 wpm
Desirable skills -
" Auto typing and shorthand experience
