Job Description

We are working alongside a medical specialist organisation who are looking for a Medical Secretary to join their team in Oxford. This is a temporary on-going position however for the right person this could be made permanent. They are looking for someone to start immediately. You will be reporting directly to the Centre Leader.

This is a full-time position based in oxford paying £11:00 p/h.

Overview..
As a Medical Secretary you will provide a comprehensive secretarial service to various consultants; dealing with enquiries, correspondence and typing clinic letters/reports. You will support the centre in all administrative functions as directed by the Centre/Deputy Manager. You will ensure that the consultant's diary is maintained and agree a system for diary management with individual consultants. You will also ensure referral letters are received and assessed daily and that the patient referral letters are moved quickly through the registration system.

The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. You will be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. You should also have some prior experience in a secretarial position.
