A team of officers who will visit the premises of low risk traders after their approval has been granted to assess assure the security and suitability of the site and submit reports of their findings to administrative staff. As these officers will be deployed nationally the post will require overnight stays and a full UK Driving License
- Monday to Friday 37 hours per week - no shifts, however some overnight stays will be required
- They must be Drivers as the job will involve driving around the South of England and Wales to inspect premises to check facilities
To meet the anticipated increase in Temporary Storage applications, a revised approval process which will use a risk matrix to determine the method of processing will be implemented. These staff will operate that revised approval process in accordance with BF policy and standard operating procedures.
The process has two distinct parts; the processing and issuing of the Temporary Storage approval which will be solely office based and a follow up visit to the Traders premises to assure the security and suitability of the site. Staff will receive desk-based training followed by coaching on an on-going basis
Administrative office-based staff
A team of caseworkers working to a higher-grade officer whose primary duties will be to evaluate trader applications, establish traders risk rating, identify the appropriate process, issue new approval documents, issue and follow up visits and maintain accurate records.
